I wrote to my Congressional Representative yesterday, The Honorable Henry E. Brown, Jr. from the First District of South Carolina. I asked him for help in bringing the MEGA GANG to justice

Many others have been scammed by Mega Moving & Storage
Today their most recent victim ("me" Charles Olimpio) begins his long journey to blow the lid off of this dispicable monster which goes by the name of Mega Moving & Storage,North Miami Beach.
You have heard some of my story here at this new blog during this past week. I am in Day 17 of my tragedy but here are some other victims ,all from the past few weeks:

Their addresses are essentially identical. This company has caused more grief and heartache than can be expressed here. They will steal your money and not even bat an eye. They will curse at you on the phone, probably because it's the only English they know.PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM

They lie about prices, they about delivery dates, when you finally get your belongings delivered, about 1/4 of it was damaged so badly that it cannot be fixed. I have dealt with Sam (supposedly the manager) Kobe (the dispatcher) They both are compulsive liars and do not even keep thier stories straight. Dealing with this company has turned my move into the most horrible nightmare imaginable. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy

The only time you will get good service is when they are trying to get you to use them for the move. Once your furniture is up in the truck you will be treated as if they are doing you a favor. You will not get your furniture before 14 days. You will be overcharged (forget the estimate) You will receive your furniture missing and damaged. You will regret using them like I did. Run.......Run........

Arrived at unreasonable hours with workers that were totally exhausted. They are the moving company you fear the worst from your worst moving nightmare. I have successfully disputed their bills with my Visa Card, and am submitting digital photographs of property damages far in excess of their charges. I will put them under the microscope of agency review and hope to see their business license revoked, as a result of this hideous business experience. According to FL Department of State Division of Corporation the company is registered under someone name Amram Mami. However, further investigation revealed that the whole scam is being orchestrated and owned by a fellow name Rubie Shmueli (previously running along with his wife Edith Shalom Destination Movers and Capital Moving both in Miami) with a long history of scamming innocent civilians.

Day 15 of the brutal crime against Charles Olimpio by Mega Moving and Storage
Received rebuttal of Mega Moving to the complaint I filed throught the BBB (Better Business Bureau)
The essence of the rebuttal is that Mega Has 21 days from the time of available delivery date (April 16,2009) to deliver my remaining worldy goods.
However the contract I have with Mega states that only on moves from the West Coast to the East Coast or vice-versa, does Mega have 21 days. On all other moves to all other regions they have 1-14 days. So in my reply to their rebuttal I have to point this out and did so.
My loss was greatly aggrevated this morning when I checked recent transactions. Mega processed the entire sum of the cost of the move through my credit card, $1037.00.
My agreement up front with the notorious,mysterious "KIM" was that I would pay $300.00 to the driver through my credit card and pay the balance due, $737.00 upon delivery of goods to my new residence in Longs,SC.
At the time of pickup in West Melbourne,Fl on Arpil 14,2009, the driver had a hand held credit card swiping machine . He entered 300.00 and I signed the slip which came out of the machine with several duplicate copies. However the debit to my account went through as $1037.00. So not only has Mega stolen all my goods but they comitted credit card fraud.
I have no definite way to figure out how they did this but apparently the infamous driver "ISAAC" was holding all of the copies in his hand and I signed just one copy,my receipt which he never handed to me. Then he wrote in or electronically entered the sum of $1037.00 which is what was processed fraudently.

Charles Olimpio had contracted with Mega several weeks earlier primarily negotiating said contract (Job Order # F313753) with a woman in Customer Service named "KIM". This woman never gave a last name in any correspondence or phine conversations with Charles Olimpio during this extended period of 3 to 4 weeks.
"KIM" seduced Charles Olimpio through repeated assuarnces that the company she represented (Mega) was unlike any of the moving companies I had read about and researched on the Web.
Mega was reliable,strong,ethical and she "KIM" would be my personal representative throught the actual time of my move which was scheduled for April 15,2009 but subsequently moved up one day at the request of Mega's driver "Isaac" to April 14,2009. As fate would have it,one the day of the move this seductive woman named "KIM" disappeared from the face of the earth. Charles Olimpio was told various tales regarding her disappearence, including she had to take an emergency leave of absence and then that she had been fired. Neither was true as "KIM" can still be reached today by calling Mega.
On April 14, at 11am, (3 hours late) Isaac,the driver for Mega Moving showed up with his helper at Charles Olimpio's apartment at 310 Lago cr, West Melbourne,FL 32904,. They loaded the Mega truck with all the remaining worldly goods of Charles Olimpio, a 78 year old man of failing health and living alone on his monthy social security check of $1500.00 with no additional income.
They placed all his goods,including but not limited to an RCA TV, a Hutch, Dining room table and 4 chairs,Sleeper sofa, a Lazy Boy recliner, a queens size bed with Bookend type headboard, a full size double dresser, a vacuum cleaner, a full size office desk, 2 cocktail tables and one end table,
golf bag with full set of Callaway golf clubs, a step ladder, a massager for Mr. Olimpio's sciatic back problem,a desktop PC and 30 packed boxes loaded with all of the hereafter called "Victim"'s personal effects including medications, china, flatware, important documents, all photos extending over a 78 year lifetime.
The loading took 3 hours and then the driver accepted a credit charge payment of $300.00 as part of the agreed upon total payment for move of #1050.00 with balance to be paid to Mega by victim upon delivery of loaded goods to 248 Sun Colony Blvd,Unit 103, Longs,SC 29568 2 days hence (April 16,2009) NOTE: Fine print on order says Mega may take as much as 14 days to deliver but "KIM" had assured victim that the verbal agreement between victim and "KIM" would overide the fine print and said verbal agreement would be firm and binding.
Driver Isaac told victim he would call him the next day while he was on the road driving to victim's new residence in Longs,SC and would give him a definite time of arrival for delivery datre of April 16,2009.
Victim drove in his car to Longs,SC and all day on April 16,2009 waited anxiously at his new residence at 248 Sun Colony Blvd,unit 103, Longs,SC. The truck never arrived and the Driver, Isaac never called. Today is April 28,2009, 2 weeks after the victims only remaining worldy goods were stolen from him by Mega Moving Co. In that two week period he has not received ONE call from either the Driver,Isaac or anyine at Mega's home office in North Miami Beach,Fl.
Victim has called repeatedly to Mega's home office and the Driver, Isaac's cell phone. Every time Victim called he was given to a different unknown party with names of samuel, Wendy, Maria, erica etc etc ad nauseum. He has also repeatedly called the mystery woman "KIM".
No one has responded or would tell him where his remaining wordly goods are located (warehouse,truck,river?) or the condition of said goods.
The victim is devestated, What little he had left in life is gone. he has had suicidal thoughts but wants to live long enough to see the perpetrator of the crimes against him brought to justice.
The victim will post regular complaints from all other victimized by Mega Moving and Storage on a daily basis.
